Office #19, Wednesday, All Day
Sep. 28th, 2011 10:41 amTyrion hadn't made it to his office the day before; he had been unavoidably detained.
... or else trying to avoid paperwork. Either way, the office had been there and he had not, and now they were reunited again -- complete with paperwork.
Tyrion had just settled in when a raven popped in at the window and deposited a note, which Tyrion read with a furrowed brow.
Apparently his dear brother planned to make a visit.
He was (almost) always happy to see Jaime, but given the situation with Daenerys? This could make for an especially interesting weekend.
[OOC: Open office!]

Office #19, Tuesday Morning, 9/20
Sep. 20th, 2011 08:59 amTyrion swore his paperwork had multiplied itself since last week. He spent the start of his office hours quarreling with it.
When that battle had temporarily fought itself to a draw, he started trying to research ways to fulfill his bargain with Lucrezia.
He hoped Kate could find him a decent tailor; while he maintained he had the right to dress badly, he preferred not to look like a child playing dress-up.

Office #19, Tuesday, All Day
Sep. 13th, 2011 09:06 amTyrion spent his office hours reading over the essays he'd made the students write the day before.
Many of them shared his opinion that, if he was going to be a killer, his aim should be better. Tyrion was both pleased and disturbed by this. There needed to be a new word for that emotion. Pleturbed, maybe.
The weekend had still been horrible. But Tyrion had gotten drunk the night before; the resulting headache went a long way toward giving him fresh pain to focus on.

Office #19, Tuesday, All Day
Sep. 6th, 2011 10:51 amTyrion was back in his office and exploring the computer-box again. He'd started looking for an explanation of how the Danger Shop worked, but the few sites he found were completely over his head.
Better just to say a wizard did it.
Bored and frustrated, he pulled out a sheet of paper and started writing a letter to his father. He wasn't sure where he'd find the raven to carry it, but he wasn't sure he wanted to talk to Tywin, either, so it all evened out.

Office Hours, Tuesday, All Day
Aug. 30th, 2011 10:50 amTyrion started his day in his office with a visit from Columbus, who helped set up that ... noisy box-thing that he called a computer.
Books still seemed far simpler. Quieter, lighter to travel with, and you didn't need to anchor them to the wall with a cord.
Still, once Tyrion had the gist of it, the computer wasn't hard. You just pressed certain keys and it did what you told it to. By the end of the hour, he had a reasonable grasp of what an Internet was and an invitation from Columbus to join him in something called World of Warcraft -- a game, no actual swords or shields involved.
That, though, would be for later. Now was for research. Browser still directed at Wikipedia, he started down the list of things people had mentioned in class that he didn't yet know about: Pope. Vampire. Gotham City. Latvian. Russian. It would be hard, slow work, learning a whole world piecemeal, but Tyrion was determined.
.. and only slightly distracted by the artwork on the vampire entry.

shotbillmurray modded with permission. Open office hours, and he still needs an assistant. SP is fine.]
